This program and website are dedicated to all of the paid and volunteer fire fighters worldwide. Proceeds from this entire project go the Toledo Fire Department Smoke Detector Trust Fund to provide free smoke detectors and batteries to needy families.

Called To Duty is more than a program; it is the mantra of those in the fire service.

Some think fire fighters are crazy for the risks they take to save lives.

Others say the only crazy thing a fire fighter does is take the oath, the rest is just the job.

Either way, fire fighters are our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends and families.
